AMM Opens 2025 with a New Partnership with SBS

AMM, member of PPA, began 2025 with the first cut at Site Satria Bahana Sarana (SBS). The first cut was officially completed in Muara Enim on Thursday (09/01/2025).

The first cut ceremony was attended by the boards and senior management of both companies. Representing AMM were President Director Joko Triraharjo, Vice President Director Ardi Tirta Tjoa, Plant Director Arif Rahman, Operations Director Teguh Sapto Subroto, Director of SWI, member of PPA, Mahendra Hadi, along with AMM's senior management. Representing SBS were President Director Agung Pratama, Production Operations Director Samiaji Nugroho, Human Resources & Finance Director Sahlul Kasman, Asset Management & Commercial Director Adhi Gamana, together with SBS's senior management.

The ceremony featured the striking of the gong, the cutting of the tumpeng, the presentation of a Komatsu PC 2000 model by Joko Triraharjo, the presentation of a Mercedes Benz dump truck model, and the symbolic handover of the A2B key from Joko Triraharjo to a representative of the AMM Site SBS operators.

Joko Triraharjo conveyed PPA Group's commitment to mining safety and his hope that AMM's presence would advance the welfare of the surrounding communities.

"We are committed to operational safety. Our hope is that Muara Enim will become more prosperous with AMM's presence," Joko said in his opening remarks.

In his own remarks, Agung Pratama echoed the same message on advancing community empowerment through this new partnership between AMM and SBS.

"Hopefully this contract will be followed by others, so the cooperation can continue. We are talking about the legacy that SBS and AMM can leave behind; we are sitting here to advance the government's programme, to empower local communities through the mining industry entrusted to this region," Agung said in his remarks. He also expressed his wish for his colleagues at SBS to learn more about emergency response from PPA.

AMM Site SBS is targeting 30 million BCM of overburden for 2025.

AMM stands ready to support PT SBS's operations in the years ahead. The new partnership between AMM and SBS is expected to keep running safely and productively.
