PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA) won the Gold Prosper A award at the Indonesia Regulatory Compliance Awards (IRCA) 2026, held at Hotel Le Méridien Jakarta. The award recognises the company's commitment to applying compliance with laws and regulations amid the complexity of a high-risk industry.
The Indonesia Regulatory Compliance Awards (IRCA) is an awards event recognising companies and business leaders for their achievements, progress and efforts in driving a culture of compliance with the regulations in force in Indonesia. It also serves as a forum for cross-sector collaboration and discussion on strengthening corporate governance and business sustainability.
The event brought together professionals and decision-makers from across corporate governance — Legal & Compliance, Corporate Secretary, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), HSE/SHE, Internal Audit & Risk Management — as well as company management and executives. It was also attended by regulators, legal consultants, academics and a range of industry stakeholders who play a part in strengthening Indonesia's governance and compliance ecosystem.
IRCA 2026 also reflects the breadth of Indonesian industry, with participation from more than 20 strategic sectors including financial services, technology, media & telecommunications, manufacturing, oil & gas and healthcare.
The programme included a panel discussion on the theme "Governance and Integrity in Practice: The Role of Compliance in Mitigating Insolvency Risks and Supporting Sustainability". The discussion featured a number of prominent speakers, among them Prof. Sidharta Utama, Ph.D., CA, CFA, Secretary of the National Committee on Governance Policy (KNKG), and Robertus Bilitea, Managing Director Legal & Compliance of BPI Danantara.
At the event, PPA won the Gold Prosper A award in the Highly Regulated, High Risk Business Complexity category. The award was given based on an assessment of the company's implementation of governance and compliance in running its business operations.
The assessment was carried out through a survey distributed to a range of companies between January and March 2026. It covered three main aspects: the strategy for implementing legal compliance, organisational management performance by company leadership, and compliance control efforts within subsidiaries.
The award is a form of recognition of PPA's commitment to upholding good corporate governance standards, strengthening a culture of compliance, and supporting business sustainability in Indonesia's mining and mining contracting industry.
