The event was witnessed by the Head of the South Kalimantan Manpower and Transmigration Office, Irfan Sayuti, S.Sos., M.Si, alongside the Regional Head of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, drg. In his remarks, H. Muhammad Syarifuddin expressed deep appreciation for PPA’s tangible contributions to workforce protection.
"Congratulations to PPA on winning the 2025 Social Security Employment Award. We hope PPA serves as an exemplary benchmark for other companies within the Large and Medium Business category, particularly in advancing social security programs, not only for internal employees but also for vulnerable workers surrounding its operational areas," he stated.
Responding to the recognition, HCGA Department Head Noor Ahmad expressed gratitude and pride, emphasizing that the award reflects the company's unwavering commitment to safety and employee well-being.
"This award from the Governor of South Kalimantan is a clear testament to our consistency in providing comprehensive protection and safety guarantees for all our workforce while carrying out operational duties in the field," said Noor Ahmad.
Social responsibility of this nature is an established practice at PPA. Prior to this achievement, PPA Site Bukit Asam (BA) demonstrated a similar commitment by providing safety coverage for 453 vulnerable workers in the Muara Enim region—a sustainable social initiative that previously earned official appreciation from the District Attorney's Office of Muara Enim in 2025.
Moving forward, PPA remains dedicated to expanding its protection footprint and uplifting the welfare of local communities surrounding its operational zones. Through targeted Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental Social Responsibility (TJSL) programs, PPA continuously strives to deliver a lasting positive impact, embodying the company's core values of care and integrity.
