Focused on OHS Implementation, PPA Wins Adaro Indonesia's Best Core Contractor Award

As a mining contractor built on the slogan Safe & Strong Operational Performance, PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA) consistently puts occupational health and safety (OHS) implementation first across all of its operational sites, alongside its focus on delivering 110% of customer targets. Adaro Indonesia has been one of the key partners playing an active role in PPA's significant business journey.

PPA's commitment to continually raising the quality of OHS implementation in mining earned high appreciation from Adaro Indonesia through two awards presented to PPA at the 2025 BK3N Adaro Indonesia event.

Held at the Adaro Indonesia office in Tabalong, South Kalimantan on Thursday (13/02/2025), the event was attended by Adaro Indonesia Head of Mining Engineering Deny Widihatmoko, PPA Site Adaro Operational Manager Rodli Muhajir, the Site Adaro and PPA Site Adaro management, and representatives of other partners.

At the 2025 BK3N Adaro Indonesia event, themed "Strengthening Human Resource Capacity in Support of Mining Safety Management System (SMKP) Implementation to Improve Productivity", PPA received the 1st Best Core Mining Services Company award for 2024 and the 3rd Best Supervisor award for 2024.

PPA won the 1st Best Core Mining Services Company award for 2024 for being judged the best core mining services company in running its business processes, and for its optimal delivery of the Adaro Zero Accident Mindset (A-ZAM) programme. PPA was also judged compliant with the Good Mining Practice (GMP) principles set out.

Juga terima kasih kepada semua karyawan/ti dan mitra kerja PPA yang telah mensupport kerja sama yang baik selama ini," said PPA Operational Manager Rodli Muhajir after receiving the award at the venue.

The 3rd Best Supervisor award for 2024, meanwhile, was earned because PPA's supervisor was judged highly capable in leading a team and holds a registered First Operational Supervisor (POP) certificate from Indonesia's National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP), thereby meeting the SMKP Implementation (ISMKP) requirements of Indonesia's Geominerba Human Resources Development Centre (PPSDM).

Winner of Adaro Indonesia's Best GMP Award 2024

Earlier, Adaro Indonesia held the Annual Contractor Mining Adaro Indonesia (ACMAI) 2025 on Tuesday (11/02/2025) at the same venue, themed "Restructuring Business Pillars for Sustainable Growth". At an event attended by a number of key figures in the cooperation between Adaro Indonesia and PPA — PPA Business Development Director Muhammad Affan, PPA Site Adaro Indonesia Operational Manager Rodli Muhajir, Adaro Indonesia Operations Director Wahyu Sulistyo and Adaro Indonesia Head of Mining Engineering Deny Widihatmoko — PPA was also presented with a range of top mining awards.

The awards were handed over during the GMP Awards Adaro Indonesia session. On this occasion PPA received the Best Mine Haul Road, Best Dewatering and Best Disposal awards for 2024, as well as third place in GMP Improvement for its Sun Tower Lamp HCGA project. At the event, PPA and Adaro Indonesia also cemented their 2025 synergy by signing the Agreed Parameter Production for 2025, covering the strategy for meeting production targets, applying the zero accident concept through the A-ZAM programme, developing a sustainable mining curriculum, and strengthening GMP implementation in PPA's operations at Site Adaro.

With these awards and achievements, PPA is committed to continually raising its standards of safety, productivity and sustainable mining practice, particularly in reaching the Zero Accident target across all of its operational sites alongside achieving 110% customer satisfaction.
