PPA Again Wins a Safety Award from the World Safety Organization

PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA) won recognition for its dedication to achieving high safety standards from the World Safety Organization (WSO) Indonesia at the WSO Indonesia-Pakistan Safety Culture Award (WISCA-WPSCA) 2024. The event was held at Patra Jasa Office Tower, South Jakarta, on 30 April 2024.

The WSO Indonesia-Pakistan Safety Culture Award (WISCA-WPSCA) 2024 was joined by 135 well-known companies from Indonesia and abroad. The event opened with remarks from WSO International President Director Alfredo de La Rosa and a representative of Indonesia's Ministry of Manpower, Muhammad Idham. The event served as a forum for discussion on safety among Indonesian companies.

PPA won awards in the Concerned Company - Top ERT category and level 4 Proactive - Gold category safety WISCA 2024 Level 4, received directly by PPA Corporate Communication Department Head Adri Thanada, in recognition of PPA's commitment to prioritising occupational health and safety (K3) in its working environment.

"Kami berterima kasih kepada WSO untuk apresiasinya atas usaha PPA dalam mengimplementasikan safety culture dalam segala bentuk operasionalnya. Penghargaan-penghargaan ini selalu menjadi salah satu pendorong bagi kami untuk terus mengedepankan dan memajukan safety culture yang ada di lingkungan kerja kami," said Adri Thanada after receiving the award.

The award adds to PPA's string of achievements in safety, both nationally and internationally. In February 2023, PPA won an award at the WSO Indonesia Safety Culture Awards (WISCA) 2023 in the Concerned CEO Awards category for PPA CEO Christianto Setyo. Beyond that, in October the same year PPA also received the international Concerned Company/Corporation Award for its excellence in implementing safety programmes and its strong safety record, including community and environmental development programmes, at the 35th International Safety & Health Symposium in Texas, United States.

Founded in 1975, WSO is an international non-governmental organisation (NGO) officially recognised and admitted to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in 1987. WSO's head office is in the United States, with representative offices spread across 21 countries worldwide.

This success demonstrates PPA's commitment to maintaining occupational health and safety, and to making a positive contribution to the surrounding community and environment.
