PPA Attends Coaltrans Asia 2024

PPA attended Coaltrans Asia 2024 on 8–10 September 2024 in Bali.

As we know, coal remains one of the world's principal energy commodities even as the world slowly transitions to new energy markets. Enthusiasm among players in the coal business remained visibly high at Coaltrans Asia 2024, which carried the theme "Supporting Energy Security in The Global Transition to Net Zero".

That enthusiasm was reflected in the attendance of more than 1,000 international delegates from the coal mining world, representing more than 580 companies from more than 30 countries. The event was an opportunity for PPA to widen its business network and open up potential new cooperation with a range of players in global mining.

Also present as panellists presenting the outlook for Indonesian coal were Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia and Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Panjaitan. Representing PPA were PPA President Director Joko Tri Raharjo and members of PPA's senior management: Christianto Setyo, Ardi Tirta Tjoa, R. Teguh Sapto Subroto, Sujoko Martin, Muhammad Affan and Fathul Muin.
