PPA Drives Innovation and Collaboration at Mining Indonesia 2026

PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA) Group participated in Mining Indonesia 2026, held at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, Jakarta, on September 9–12, 2026.

During the event, Agung Supri Anto, Plant Technical & People Development Department Head at PPA, served as a speaker at the Shell booth in a session titled “Shell Grease Technology for Mining Operations Reliability.” In the discussion, Agung shared insights on fuel optimization and technology integration to enhance field operational reliability. He also addressed various inquiries from attendees during an interactive Q&A session.

Aldi Muslim, Grease Business Development Manager at Shell Indonesia, noted that the presence of PPA's representative provided valuable ground-level insights into operational needs and challenges within the mining sector.

"PPA is one of our largest customers. Through this discussion, we gained practical insights into actual field conditions. This relevant, real-world input is extremely valuable for us as we grow together," said Aldi following the session.

The event also featured a hybrid truck showcased by PT Star Wagen Indonesia (SWI), a member of PPA Group, at the Sany booth.

Beyond knowledge sharing and industry collaboration, PPA's innovative drive was further highlighted by Gaspol, an innovation team from AMM Site MIFA, which earned a Silver Award at the Greenovation: Green Mining Innovation Challenge 2026, organized by the Indonesian Coal Mining Association (APBI-ICMA) in partnership with SUN. The team secured the award with their project titled “Powering Green Hauling Innovation: Electric Prime Mover Integration for Double Trailer 140 Tons Operations.”

Karina Darmawan, Chief Executive Officer of Sun Mobility and a panelist at Greenovation 2026, commended the participants' forward-thinking solutions.

"The innovations presented by the participants were eye-opening. These ideas could be shared and scaled more broadly across other mining operators," she remarked after presenting the award to AMM.

Rendy Artha, Human Capital Development Department Head at PPA, added that this recognition serves as motivation for PPA personnel to continuously innovate.
