PT Putra Perkasa Abadi’s (PPA Group) commitment to sustainable business practices—centered on corporate risk mitigation, operational resilience, and community empowerment—has once again earned international acclaim. PPA Group achieved outstanding success by securing a sweep of top honors at The Asian ESG Leadership Summit 2026, held under the theme “The Future of ESG is Economic Protection” at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta, on October 21, 2026.
In the Corporate Risk & Economic Resilience category, PT Antareja Mahada Makmur (AMM) Site Vale was recognized for its flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, "Mitra Mahalona: Local Business Partnership Model in Fostering Economic Empowerment of Mahalona Village Community."
This program earned the Platinum Global Recognition title with an exceptional score of 95.80 and was named a CEPI Champion Candidate – Zero Cost, High Impact Program. Under the La Tofi ESG Rating Methodology, the Mitra Mahalona initiative fell into the Risk High-Action High Category (Leader Quadrant), demonstrating the company’s ability to effectively mitigate high social-operational risks by leveraging local community potential efficiently.

Adding to this remarkable achievement, PPA Site BA brought home top honors in the Operational Resilience & Local Risk category. Through its innovative program, "Putra Perkasa Abadi Mining Talent Acceleration (PPA MTA) – Nurturing Young Talent, Strengthening the Mining Industry," PPA Site BA received a Platinum Alignment ranking with a score of 95.60 and the title of CEPI Champion Candidate 2.89. The initiative was recognized as highly strategic in addressing skilled local labor shortages while securing the long-term operational sustainability of the mining sector.
Highlighting the sweep, ESG-driven field leadership was also awarded the highest honor. Akhmad Maulana Ibrahim, Project Manager (PJO) of PT Antareja Mahada Makmur (AMM) Site Vale, received the individual Operation ESG Impact Leader award with a Platinum Leader Performance recognition level (scoring 94.85). This award stands as a testament to visionary leadership in integrating ESG principles directly into core mining operations on-site.

During the event, Minister of Environment Mohammad Jumhur Hidayat emphasized that operational business units must deliver meaningful benefits to the communities surrounding their operational areas.
Echoing this sentiment, Akhmad Maulana Ibrahim noted that corporate success extends far beyond production targets to encompass impact on surrounding communities.
“This award serves as a reminder that true success is not measured by what we produce, but by how widely we extend goodness to others. Like a flowing spring, let our every step continuously bring hope, positive energy, and lasting benefits for future generations. From us to our community, from our community to the universe,” Akhmad stated.
These international honors reinforce PPA Group’s position as a frontrunner in measurable ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) implementation within Indonesia’s mining industry. This achievement across multiple fronts is expected to inspire all PPA Group business units to continue driving harmonious synergy between operational resilience, environmental sustainability, and community welfare.
