PPA Jobsite Adaro Wins an Award from the Tabalong Regency Environment Office 2026

PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA) Jobsite Adaro Indonesia won an award from the Environment Office (DLH) of the Tabalong Regency Government for its part in and support for waste management towards a clean Tabalong.

The award was presented directly by H. M. Noor Rifani, Regent of Tabalong, to Singgieh Prananda, PPA HCGA Section Head, at the National Waste Awareness Day (HPSN) 2026 ceremony held in the grounds of Pendopo Bersinar on Saturday (28/2/2026). The event was also attended by those responsible for the 2025 Adipura monitoring points, representatives of community self-help groups (KSM), company representatives from the various industrial sectors operating in Tabalong, and Tabalong's sanitation workers.

On the occasion, remarks by Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, Minister of Environment / Head of the Environmental Control Agency, read out by the Regent of Tabalong, stressed the importance of strengthening behaviour change at the source of waste, making the most of processing facilities, and reinforcing education and oversight consistently and sustainably by regional government, business and the community.

At the event, the Tabalong Regional Government presented a number of waste management awards to KSMs and businesses that contributed to supporting the 2025 waste management programme. The awards reflect the synergy between business, regional government and the community in achieving environmental conservation.

Through a number of initiatives, PPA Jobsite Adaro actively supports programmes to reduce, sort and process waste, both within the company's operating area and in the surrounding community.

One expression of that commitment is its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme supporting the Bank Sampah Harapan Baru in Kasiau Raya Village, Murung Pudak District. As a mentored waste bank, the facility received strengthened supporting equipment, capacity building for its managers, and community education programmes to encourage a participation-based waste management system with economic value.

PPA Jobsite Adaro's management expressed its appreciation for the award while affirming the company's commitment to keep strengthening collaboration with the regional government. Through programme innovation and focused CSR implementation, PPA works to support Tabalong Regency's SMaRT development vision — Sejahtera, Maju, Religius, dan Terdepan — and to make a real contribution to sustainable environmental conservation.
