PPA Site SKS Distributes Welfare Assistance to Honorary Teachers in Central Kalimantan

PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA), in collaboration with PT Surya Kalimantan Sejati (SKS), contributed to the Community Development and Empowerment Program (PPM) by providing welfare incentives for honorary teachers in Tumbang Kajuei, Rungan District, Gunung Mas Regency, Central Kalimantan.

Running for six months from July to December 2026, the program targets honorary teachers across five schools located within PPA Site SKS's primary operational area (Ring 1). Cash assistance and essential food supplies were distributed to 11 verified honorary teachers possessing active teaching appointment decrees (Surat Keputusan).

The five beneficiary schools comprise SDN Trans Kajuei, SDN Kajuei Datah, SDN Tumbang Kajuei, TK Gloria Kajuei, and SMPN 1 Atap 1 Rungan.

This initiative serves as a token of appreciation for the crucial role honorary teachers play in maintaining educational continuity, particularly in regions facing shortages of teaching staff. Beyond easing daily living expenses, the program aims to support educators as they continue nurturing the next generation near the company's operational sites.

"Through this program, we hope to contribute to improving the welfare of honorary teachers. More importantly, we wish to honor their dedication to educating young minds while strengthening harmonious relations between the company and local communities," said Yandi Aziz, Group Leader of HCGA at PPA Site SKS.

The program was warmly received by school officials and local community members, who noted its tangible impact on teachers' day-to-day lives.
