PPA Speaks on Mining Digitalisation at the Indonesia Digital Mining Summit 2023

PT Putra Perkasa Abadi attended the Indonesia Digital Mining Summit 2023, held by Majalah Tambang at Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta, on Wednesday (6/12). The event carried the theme "Driving A Modern and Sustainable Mining"..

Also present were the Director of Minerba Programme Development Tri Winarno, PPA HCGA Director Teguh Sapto Subroto and senior management from other leading mining sector companies in Indonesia.

The event was divided into 3 sessions: 2 discussion sessions and 1 case study presentation session.

On this occasion Teguh delivered the presentation Data Mining: The Power of Insight, titled Building Safety Resilience and Solving Collision Avoidance System Hurdles, in discussion session 2*: Digital initiative to Enhance Asset Performance, Efficiency and Productivity*.

In his presentation Teguh explained the application of digitalisation in creating and improving the safety aspect of a mining contractor's day-to-day business, through the SS6 innovation as an employee monitoring system and the Collision Avoidance System that PPA continues to develop for its production vehicles.

"Ke depannya, PPA akan menerapkannya di semua site dan kita terus melakukan review dan menganalisa kembali agar bisa digunakan di kondisi dan lingkungan yang berbeda."

At the end of the presentation, the moderator praised the success of the PPA ERT, representing Indonesia as Garuda Mine Rescue, in winning 4 trophies at the 13th Mining Emergency Response Competition 2023 in Langley Park, Perth, Australia on 24–26 November 2023.
