PPA Wins an Award for its Contribution to Producing 15,000 Skilled Workers in Tabalong

In keeping with that company mission, PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA) places human resource development among its top priorities in running its business. The commitment aims not only to raise productive capacity — individually and collectively — in the areas around its mining operations, but also to produce people who are aware, who care, and who are able to create a safe and healthy working environment.

As a concrete expression of that commitment, PPA consistently runs a range of training and competence development programmes, both for new graduates and for experienced workers. Programmes such as the Fresh Operator Development Program (FODP), Fresh Mechanic Development Program (FMDP), PPA Academy, and various workshops and certification programmes for local communities are part of the company's strategy for building outstanding local talent, run every year.

PPA's commitment and efforts to improve and empower local communities have brought recognition from many quarters, local government included.

After earlier receiving the Siddhakarya Award at Central Kalimantan Province level for 2024 (Read also: PPA Raih Penghargaan dari Pemerintah Provinsi Kalteng), and an award from the Muara Enim Regency Government for its contribution to apprenticeships and raising the competence of education and training participants at the end of 2024 (Read also: Tutup Tahun 2024 dengan Prestasi, PPA Raih Penghargaan dari Pemerintahan Kabupaten Muara Enim ), PPA has again recorded a similar achievement in 2025.

On Saturday (10/05), PPA received an award from the Tabalong Regency Government, South Kalimantan Province, for the company's role in supporting the Programme to Produce 15,000 Skilled Workers in Tabalong Regency.

PPA contributes by providing heavy equipment instructors from PPA for the government's training programme over the next 5 years. Under the training, each participant is planned to receive In Class and field training totalling 50 hours across a 90-day programme.

The award was presented directly by the Regent of Tabalong, Muhammad Noor Rifani, to Rodli Muhajir, Operations Manager of PT Putra Perkasa Abadi site Adaro Indonesia, at the event Silaturahmi Bupati Tabalong dengan Seluruh Perusahaan di Kabupaten Tabalong Tahun 2025.

"Kami segenap pimpinan daerah kabupaten tabalong mengucapkan terima kasih yang banyak kepada PT PPA serta perusahaan lainnya yang ada di kabupaten tabalong, karena turut serta dalam mensukseskan program ini," said Rifani.
