PT Antareja Mahada Makmur Wins the Strategic Nickel Mining Project of PT Kembar Emas Sultra

PT Antareja Mahada Makmur (AMM), member of PPA (PT Putra Perkasa Abadi), has been officially appointed as contractor for the PT Kembar Emas Sultra (KES) nickel mining project for the next 5 years, starting in the fourth quarter of 2025 with an annual production target of 8 million tonnes (ore barging). The appointment marks the consistency of AMM's expansion into the national nickel mining sector, while strengthening AMM's position as a strategic partner in Indonesian mining operations.

AMM has this time been entrusted with operations located in North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, where total ore reserves reach more than 30 million tonnes of limonite and saprolite ore.

As mining contractor, AMM will manage the stages of mine operations from mine infrastructure preparation, waste removal and ore extraction through to ETO stockpile management and haulage to the shipping facility.

Beyond its operational role, AMM aims to create a positive impact for surrounding communities, both through empowering the local workforce and through an active part in community development programmes aligned with AMM's commitment to delivering sustainable and responsible mining.

PPA Group's commitment to applying these mining engineering principles is realised consistently, and has been recognised by the government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (KESDM) with the highest award in Good Mining Practice, Aditama (Gold), at the GMP Awards for two years running in 2023 and 2024 at its nickel mining site.
