PT Putra Perkasa Abadi Drives Workforce Self-Reliance in Tabalong Regency through the FODP & FMDP Programmes

PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA) once again reaffirms its commitment to developing human resources through the Fresh Operator Development Program (FODP) and Fresh Mechanic Development Program (FMDP) at the Adaro jobsite. The programme is a concrete step towards producing a workforce that is competent, disciplined and ready to compete in the mining industry, and an important moment in the partnership between PPA and its stakeholders to produce outstanding fresh-graduate talent.

The opening and send-off of the programme's participants was attended by the Regent of Tabalong Muhammad Noor Rifani, the Head of the Tabalong Regency Manpower Office Hady Ismanto, Mining Operations Department Head Deni Irawan, and PPA Operations Manager Wahyu Binuko, together with partners, sub-district heads, village heads from the participants' home villages, and the participants' parents, on 2 April 2026.

A total of 30 participants from Tabalong Regency are taking part in the programme, which equips them with technical skills, a strong work ethic and a robust safety culture. Beyond training, the programme also opens real opportunities for participants to build a career and grow with PPA.

Alongside FODP and FMDP, PPA runs a range of other empowerment programmes, including BNSP Welder training and certification for 12 participants, an apprenticeship programme from the Vocational Training Centre (BLK) for 15 participants, and support for 300 informal workers from 7 villages across 4 sub-districts to become beneficiaries of the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan "Sertakan" programme, giving them protection in the form of Work Accident Insurance and Death Insurance.
