PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA)’s commitment to human resource (HR) development has once again earned national recognition at the 2026 TOP Human Capital Awards. During the award ceremony held at the Raffles Hotel Jakarta on Thursday (29/10), three of PPA’s operational sites Borneo Indobara (BIB), Bukit Asam (BA), and Makmur Lestari Primatama (MLP), secured prestigious accolades for their excellence in employee management and development.
PPA Site BIB earned the top distinction, receiving the TOP Human Capital Awards 2026 5-Star, while PPA Site BA and PPA Site MLP were each awarded 4-Star status. Individual accolades were also presented to Noor Akhmad (Section Head HCGA Site BIB), Dedy Bayu Pradigdo (Section Head HCGA Site BA), and Rafiq Luthfan Kurnia (Site MLP) in recognition of their strategic leadership in driving HR success across their respective sites.
Carrying the theme "Unlocking Human Potential for Sustainable Business Excellence," the event, organized by TOP Business magazine, honors companies that have successfully aligned HR governance with long-term business sustainability.
The ceremony was attended by Teguh Djatmiko, Director of Instructor and Training Personnel Development at the Ministry of Manpower RI, representing Minister of Manpower Yassierli, alongside corporate leaders and HR practitioners from across industries.

"Congratulations to all the winners of the 2026 TOP Human Capital Awards for their dedication to building a competent, productive, adaptive, and highly competitive Indonesian workforce," stated Teguh during his keynote address.
For PPA Site BIB, attaining the 5-Star rating marks a significant milestone after securing 4-Star recognition for two consecutive years. This elevation reflects the company's intensified employee development initiatives, notably through the TANGGUH (Talenta, Unggul, dan Handal) program, designed to groom internal future leaders.
Noor Akhmad, Section Head HCGA Site BIB, explained that the TANGGUH initiative was launched earlier this year to equip non-staff personnel transitioning into managerial and staff-level roles.
"Through the TANGGUH program, we prepare PPA’s prospective leaders by delivering intensive one-week classroom training tailored for non-staff employees advancing to staff positions. To date, approximately 240 employees have participated, achieving an impressive 80 percent assessment pass rate. We aim to further expand this program across higher organizational tiers," said Noor Akhmad.
The drive for continuous capability building is equally demonstrated at Site BA and Site MLP. Their respective awards underline PPA’s ongoing efforts to enhance workforce competency and elevate HR management standards across all operating regions.

Representing PPA Human Capital Management, Rendy Artha expressed his appreciation to all teams involved, emphasizing that the recognition should serve as a catalyst for continuous improvement.
"Congratulations to PPA Site BIB, BA, and MLP on these well-deserved honors. May this accomplishment inspire HCGA teams across all operational sites. The open evaluation process and insights shared by industry experts provide invaluable guidance for our ongoing refinements. We hope to build on this milestone together to elevate HR management standard throughout the entire organization," remarked Rendy.
Building upon its success at the 2025 TOP Human Capital Awards, this year's achievements reinforce PPA’s consistent strategy of placing employee development at the core of its corporate growth. By bolstering workforce competencies and cultivating internal leadership talent, PPA continues to create meaningful pathways for employees to thrive alongside the company.
PPA firmly believes that a competent, adaptive, and dedicated workforce serves as the bedrock of operational excellence. Moving forward, the company remains dedicated to advancing its HR practices to meet evolving industry demands while driving sustainable business expansion.
